There was light turnout yesterday as only about a quarter of registered voters participated.
The as of yet unofficial election results are:
Republican Eric Schmitt wins the GOP US Senate nomination with approximately 46% of 654,474 votes cast, followed by Vicki Hartzler at roughly 22%
Democrat Trudy Busch Valentine won the Democratic US Senate nomination with slightly more than 43% of 367,420 votes cast, Lucas Kunce came in second with a tad more than 38%
State Representative Travis Fitzwater, edged out Republican Mike Carter by only 682 votes to win the Republican nomination in the Missouri Senate – District 10 race.
The Audrain Ambulance Maintenance Proposition lost by half a percentage point.
The Tri-County Nursing Homes property tax question was also narrowly defeated.
