City Council Report from 8/8/22 Meeting
Mayor Chris Miller came in this morning to report on the City Council doings at their meeting on Monday. They added a small portion to the recent annexed property on South Clark, East of Pearl Motor Company. Essentially, the Pearl parking lot had not been included in the original annexation and was creating an “island” of county land in the center. This move corrects that oversight.
He also said, that while the budget is overspent by approximately 3 million dollars, or slightly over 10%, there is money to cover that due to uncompleted contracts and deliveries that were derailed by Covid and product shortages last year.
