Hannibal beat Mexico 8-1 yesterday in tennis. Jyllian Whitworth and Lani Blair had their best singles match in their young career. Baylea Porter and Sandra Cruz-Jarquin came out with a lot of energy and earned a win in a tight match.

In Eastern Missouri Conference softball action last (Tuesday) night, North Callaway hosted Wright City and won 9 to 4.
