Despite losing to the Pirates last night 3 to 2, Albert Pujols continues to set records.

He hit his 703rd homer and broke his tie with Babe Ruth to take sole possession of 2nd place on the RBI list at 2,216.

Pujols now has 24 home runs on the season.

In other Cardinals news, before last night’s game they inked Giovanny Gallegos to a two-year contract reportedly worth $11 million with a club option for the 2025 season.


The Royals picked up a 5 to 2 win over the Guardians last night courtesy of rookie Drew Waters.

It was his 3-run homer off Kirk McCarty in the 10th inning that got them the win.


The Blues wrap up postseason play tonight as they host the Minnesota Wild at Enterprise Center. Puck drops at 7:00.

Their season & home opener is next Saturday the 15th as they host the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7:00.
