MoDOT is seeking comments on the preferred alternatives at the intersection of I-70 and Highway 63 in Columbia.
They will hold a open house public meeting Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 at the ARC in Columbia, 1701 West Ash for residents to look at what preferred alternatives are being presented as well as the opportunity to speak to project team members.
The as-yet-unfunded project is included in the state’s Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan with a projected cost of 194 million dollars.
The interchange is only one piece of a larger project looking at improvements to an 18-mile stretch of the interstate through Boone County.
