The Phillies also tied the record for most home runs in a World Series game at 5, all of them coming off starting pitcher Lance McCullers, Jr., a record for most homers surrendered by a pitcher in a World Series game.

Bryce Harper in the first, Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh in the second, Kyle Schwarber and Rhys Hoskins in the fifth all went deep making the Phillies the first team in history to hit five homers in the first five innings of a World Series game.

Monday’s rainout of Game 3 in Philadelphia is nothing new to the Phillies.

The exact same thing happened when they hosted Game 3 in 1993, 2008, and 2009.

The lost in 1993 and 2009 but won in 2008.

Game 4 is tonight at 7:03 from Philly.
