Ameren Electric Customers Will Pay More Starting In February

Ameren electric customers will pay more for their fuel adjustment clause following a ruling by the Missouri Public Service Commission.

For the average user, the rate is currently $2.70 but after February 1st, that rate will increase to $6.27.

Fuel adjustment charges are intended to help companies deal with volatility in fuel pricing according to the PSC.

This latest adjustment is for additional costs incurred by Ameren from June through September of last year.
