Mexico City Council Meets In Regular Session

Property at 1809 West Liberty is officially rezoned from residential to industrial at tonight’s (Monday’s) City Council meeting.

The property is owned by Dennis Mommens who plans to eventually build a new facility for Mommens Heating & Cooling.

Emery Sapp & Sons was awarded the bid to extend Mars Street to Agricultural with a low bid of $186,779.

Additionally, a Healthcare Market Assessment and Delivery Model Feasibility Study was discussed.

The city, county, and the health department are prepared to move forward with the study with requests for qualifications going out soon.

The study will look at what is most feasible as far as a hospital for Mexico is concerned and will cover three main components: data collection, how the hospital would be financed, and how to get the project completed.
