Mexico Man Arrested After Disturbance Involving A Knife At Local Business

A Mexico man is facing charges of Fourth Degree Assault and Unlawful Use of Weapon after an incident at a Mexico business last (Wednesday) night.

According to Mexico Public Safety it happened around 6:49 in the 100 block of East Monroe at the Dug Out Bar and Grill.

Officers say 34 year old Jason T. Scott was asked to leave the business after a disturbance.

When Scott began to leave, he then returned with a knife and continued to yell at several people according to police.

He was arrested and to taken to the Audrain County Jail where he posted bond.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
