Foster kids from around the area celebrated Easter on Saturday, April 8, 2023, in Mexico.
Angel Wings put together the event with guest appearances from the Easter Bunny, Elsa from Frozen and Batman.
Kelly Hooper was the MC and Fairy Estates donated the facility and decorated for the 2nd year.
9-year-old Maggie Dishman who was in foster care and is now adopted was a volunteer this year and said it was a memorable Easter.
Maggie is the daughter of Angel Wings CEO/Founder Jody Dishman.
Jody says “All the hard work and staying up all night was completely worth it to see the smiles. Life hasn’t always given them a reason to smile.”
The theme for this year was “It Takes a Village.”
141 kids from Audrain County and surrounding areas attended the Angel Wings Easter celebration this year.
