Mexico High School Sophomore Makes School History

Mexico High School sophomore Camden Williams continues to make school history.

It was announced this week that Williams will be representing Mexico this year as a member of the State of Missouri Quiz Bowl All-Star Team.

Williams is a part of the nationally ranked Mexico High School Quiz Bowl Team.

Mexico Quiz Bowl Coach Dale Schenewerk tells KXEO that Camden is making historic waves through the state of Missouri’s Quiz Bowl scene… as a sophomore. “It is Camden’s tireless work ethic and dedication to becoming the best he can be to lift Mexico High School to prominence that has led him to such heights at such a young age. As far as I know, he is the only Mexico HS student ever to be named to a Missouri All-Star team… and he is now focused on leading the team to its first state tournament appearance. The path to state begins this Saturday at Mexico HS with the Class 5 District 4 tournament.”

Williams will be competing in the National All-Star Academic Tournament online on June 17-18.
