Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday):
- Suspicious person on Old Farm Road/East Summit and at West Pearson/Jefferson.
- Runaway juvenile on West Buchanan/Morris Street.
- Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
- Domestic physical incident at the Marine Drive apartment building.
- Suspicious vehicle on Hazel Street/Western and on South Western/Oak Lane and at Beacon/Cherry and on Hassen and at Briarwood Place.
- Stolen vehicle reported on Marine Drive.
- Stealing or theft at West Buchanan and at Garfield Park.
- Vehicle break-in on West Boulevard.
- Drug activity in progress at East Breckenridge.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Wade and Love reported in Mexico on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Breta Carpenter of Mexico stopped at a stop sign entered the onto Wade and did not see a vehicle driven by 85-year-old Charles Thomas of Mexico and a collision happened. No injuries were reported.
