
The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team wrapped up their regular season last night (Monday) with a 4-0 loss to the Moberly Spartans.
Bulldogs pitcher Austin Maxwell struck out three. Maxwell, Sam Ryan and Andrew Runge collected one hit to lead Mexico’s offense.
Up next Mexico plays Moberly in round one of the District Tournament on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10 am in Macon.

The Mexico High School Track Team competed at the North Central Missouri Conference Track Meet on Friday, May 5, 2023. Head coach Buck Green says “It was a nice day but windy. Several good performances in spite of being a bit snakebit. Emma Seibert a seemingly secured third place only to trip on last hurdle. Losing Morgan Grubb to recurring injury led to last minute relay changes. Tyler Grimes had big day with win in the 800 and 50.8 leg of the 4×400 relay to get second with Anthony Shivers, Davantae Frame, and Charlie Fisher. Thomas Peuster champion in the 3200, and Dante Kelley with a very improved jump in the triple were also stand outs. Maggie Ramsey was second in 3200 with PR . ALEX ROWAN WITH BIG PR IN 200 ALTHOUGH PLACING 4TH.”
