The North Callaway R-1 School District is excited to announce Mr. Travis Blevins as the High School Principal for the 2023-24 school year.
Mr. Blevins replaced the role vacated by Mr. Lance Faulk.
Mr. Travis Blevins is a native of Auxvasse, MO, and a graduate of North Callaway High School.
He attended college at Southeast Missouri State where he played football while earning his degree in Education.
He later received his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership
from William Woods University.
Upon accepting the position, Mr. Blevins stated “I’m excited to serve as the
North Callaway High School Principal. As someone raised in the district, I’m
excited to give back to this great community, and I look forward to building
great relationships with students, teachers, and staff.”
Mr. Blevins has extensive experience as an educator as a teacher, coach, and administrator.
Mr. Blevins has twenty-six years of public school experience, with twenty at the high school level with stints at Parkway South, Jefferson City, Mexico and North Callaway. Mr. Blevins has eight years of administrative experience including three years in the North Callaway R-1 School District as the K-8 principal at Auxvasse—his most recent administrative experience as the assistant principal and activities director at Mexico High School.
Superintendent Mrs. Kenya Thompson commented, “We are extremely pleased to announce Mr. Blevins as the high school principal. He brings a wealth of educational experience and a proven track record of dedication to the North Callaway community. It’s clear he thrives on building relationships, and I look
forward to seeing how his strengths help the high school’s students, teachers, and staff.”
Travis is married to Nicky Blevins and they have four children, Logan, Drew, Riley, and Jake.
