Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 21-year-old Dominique D. O’Toole yesterday (Monday) , July 31, 2023, for Second Degree Statutory Rape and Second Degree Statutory Sodomy.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Monday), July 31, 2023:
- Child abuse or neglect reported on West Pearson.
- Vehicle break-in at West Pearson.
- Suspicious person on North Jefferson.
- Ex-parte violation at West Breckenridge.
- Stealing or theft on North Jefferson and at South Washington.
- Careless and imprudent driver on North Calhoun.
- Domestic physical incident at West Robinson.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Monday, July 31, 2023. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened on South Clark at West Jackson. A vehicle driven by 23-year-old Michael Bledsoe of Mexico was heading east on West Jackson crossing the intersection at South Clark Street. A vehicle driven by 68-year-old Bev Borgenson of Mexico was heading north on South Clark Street and failed to stop for the sign controlling the intersection resulting in a collision according to the accident report. No injuries were reported.
