Six Counties Added For FEMA Assistance

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved six additional counties for assistance in the wake of floods and severe weather.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson announced today [Tuesday] that residents of Callaway and Saline Counties are among those now eligible for assistance with temporary housing, housing repairs and the replacement of household items.

So far, FEMA has distributed nearly $5 million to Missourians since the disaster was first declared on July 9.
