Mexico High School Wrestler Grant Van Horn Rumbles To First Place Finish In Undefeated Weekend

Mexico High wrestler Grant Van Horn grappled his way to  first place in the Cowboy Rumble this weekend.

The tournament was held in Branson and Van Horn wrestled in the individual tournament and won the high school 167 pound bracket.

Van Horn was wrestling for the Missouri Outlaws team in the high school duals on Sunday.

For the weekend he went a perfect 8-0 and did not allow any points against him.

Van Horn is entering his junior year at the Mexico High School.

As a freshman he put up a fourth place finish for head coach Gayle Adams and the Mexico High School wrestling program.

As a sophomore he was fifth in the State Wrestling Tournament.

Several more Mexico wrestlers also wrestled over the weekend that included 8th grader Trevor Cole who wrestled for the 12U and 15U Outlaws teams. And freshman Carlos Juarez who wrestled on the High School Outlaws Team.
