It was another successful night for the 2023 Mexico High School Midnight football scrimmage and home run derby. The Mexico High School football guys came out victorious in the home run derby against the Mexico Lady Bulldogs softball girls. Unofficial results had Drew DeMint as the home run champion hitting about 12 homers. Tyson Carr was next in line with about nine home runs.
The football players moms also participated in the annual moms clinic in preparation for the upcoming season.
Mexico Football opens the season on the road in Centralia on Friday, August 25th against the Centralia Panthers.
Mexico Lady Bulldogs Softball has an upcoming jamboree in Mexico on August 19.
