Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday), August 17, 2023:
- An animal bite reported on Lakeview Road/Morris Street.
- Stealing or theft at East Liberty.
- Careless and Imprudent driver on Vance Road/South Clark.
- Unlawful ATV operation at West Love.
- Runaway juvenile on Ashley Court.
- Suspicious person at East Monroe and on West Monroe and at Lakeview Road and on West Pearson.
- Shots fired reported at Garfield.
- Suspicious vehicle on West Street.
- Drug activity in progress at South Muldrow.
Car accidents:
A two car accident on Highway 54 at the South Clark On Ramp on Wednesday, August 17, 2023. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Cindy Maxwell of Mexico started to merge onto Highway 54 and collided into the passenger side of a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Alaina McCulla of Columbia. No injuries were reported.
