Plenty of activities are planned for this Friday, September 8 at the Mexico High School before the home football game against Odessa.
It is Student Involvement Day.
It is a time when students are released to the front lawn to check out clubs and organizations at Mexico High School.
It runs from 2:30 to 3:15.
It also Military Appreciation Night. At 4:45 the stadium will be open for branches.
So far representation includes the Navy and Air Force.
Then at 5:00 the junior class opens a BBQ booth with the funds to go towards After Prom.
Then at 7pm the Mexico Bulldogs kick off against the Odessa Bulldogs.
Between the 1st and 2nd quarters the Armed Forces Melody will be played.
