Missouri Farm Bureau Announces Audrain County College Student As Recipient Of Scholarship

Cameryn Belle Hoffman of Audrain County has been awarded the inaugural Michael P. Voiles Scholarship for Insurance and Agriculture, announced Tuesday, September 12, 2023 by Missouri Farm Bureau.

Hoffman, a third-year student at College of the Ozarks, graduated from North Callaway High School in May 2021 and has accumulated 94 collegiate hours through two full years at COO.

She was the President of the North Callaway FFA during high school and has continued an active agricultural role by serving as the reporter for the COO Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter.

Hoffman volunteers with the Audrain County 4-H and youth fair every year and helps with the community garden at Bridge of Faith community church.

Hoffman is majoring in Agricultural Business and Agronomy.

The scholarship was established this fall to honor Voiles’ outstanding legacy and service at Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB).

Voiles served MOFB and its members for 42 years, and the scholarship was created by his wife, Beckie, to encourage students to pursue degrees – and ultimately careers – in the insurance and agricultural industries.

Each recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship that is renewable for up to three additional years, pending the successful completion of yearly criteria.
