The Van-Far School District will soon begin a search for a new superintendent after current superintendent John Fortney announced his resignation on Thursday, November 17, 2023.
According to Mr. Fortney the Van-Far Board of Education accepted his resignation as superintendent at the conclusion of the 23-24 school year.
Mr. Fortney says he and his wife will be moving to New Hampshire where he has accepted a position as Superintendent.
