Mexico Bulldogs Headed Back To Championship Game Of Montgomery County Tournament

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team came out on top of Hermann 54-44 in the semifinals of the Montgomery County Tournament on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Hermann took it to the Bulldogs early in the game getting out to a seven point lead in the first quarter and enjoyed a two-point at halftime.

Mexico would take the lead early in the fourth quarter and improved to 3-0 on the season.

Mexico had three players get into double digits.

Jaydon Eldridge put up a season high 20 points and knocked down 4-three pointers.

DJ Long checked in with 12 points.

And Kaden Benne finished the game with 11 points and three-three pointers.

Rounding out the scoring book it was PJ Perkins with 9 points.

Donye Nunnelly with 4 points.

And Grant Broeker with one point.

Mexico will play the winner of the Fulton/Montgomery County game on Saturday, December 2nd, with a 6pm tip-off.
