Mexico Public Safety Department Report 12/8/2023
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Thursday, December 7, 2023:
- Suspicious activity on West Breckenridge/Clark.
- Suspicious person at Fieldcrest and on Wilmar.
- Threats at South Morris Street.
- A scam on South Morris Street.
- A vehicle fire at the Highway 54 Bypass.
- Intoxicated person driving on South Missouri.
- Shoplifting at 4820 South Clark.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Boulevard and Webster on Thursday, December 7, 2023. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Ruth Campbell of Mexico stopped to turn south on Webster and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Racheal Berry of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
An accident at 420 East Promenade on Thursday, December 7, 2023. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Troy E. Boswell of Mexico was leaving the parking lot and backed into a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.
