The Mexico Bulldogs High School basketball teams split their games at the Norm Stewart Classic at Mizzou Arena in Columbia on Friday, December 7, 2023.
The Mexico Bulldogs boys improved their record to a perfect 6-0 after defeating Ewing Marion Kaufman 58-42.
DJ Long was honored as the Gary Filbert MVP of the game.
Long put up 16 points, 5 assists and, 5 steals and one block.
PJ Perkins recorded 13 points, and 3 blocks.
And Kaden Benne finished in double digit scoring with 10 points.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs fell to School of the Osage 53-28.
Claire Hudson led the way offensively for Mexico with 14 points.
