Laddonia Woman With Minor Injuries In Mexico Accident
A Laddonia woman is recovering from minor injuries after an accident in Mexico during the morning hours of Thursday, December 28, 2023.
Mexico Public Safety responded to the accident just before 8am on the Highway 54 Bypass at the Salt River Creek Bridge.
A vehicle driven by 31-year-old Krista Painter of Laddonia was going eastbound on the Highway 54 Bypass and hit the side of the bridge.
According to Mexico Public Safety the accident happened due to icy conditions.
Audrain County EMS personnel responded.
Painter reportedly had minor injuries to the head but did not require transportation to the hospital.
