Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls yesterday (Wednesday): Shots fired at 917 Tyronn Lue Boulevard. A stealing or theft at 1629 North Clark and at 828 West Monroe. Threats at 1324 Falcon Drive.
Groundbreaking For New HomeBank Held
A groundbreaking ceremony took place today for a new HomeBank facility coming to Mexico. Tom Nelson, Community Bank President for Central Missouri Region, says the community fits their business model. Nelson says they hope to be open next year. Mexico will be HomeBank’s 8th location, and will be overseen by Mary Dickey.
Updated COVID-19 Testing Numbers From Audrain County Health Department As Of 5/3/20
No new cases of COVID-19 reported in Audrain County as of 10 yesterday (Sunday) morning. According to the Audrain County Health Department 94 individuals have been tested for COVID-19. There has been 1 positive confirmed case, 93 negative cases, and no test results are pending.

A Monroe County man convicted of a 2018 murder of his secret fiancee will be sentenced this (Monday) morning in Jefferson City.
