Bowen Sisters Make Mexico High School Girls Wrestling School History By Striking Gold In Chillicothe
School history was made by the Mexico High School girls wrestling team at the Chillicothe Tournament on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Katie Bowen and Abby Bowen brought home gold making it the first time in Mexico High School girls wrestling team history that two sisters were able to secure that honor on the same day.
Karisa Hayden took 1st place in the 190 pound division.
Alexus Johns was 1st place in the 235 pound division.
Matty Tolbert secured second place in the 235 division.
And Alyssa Knight was a third place finisher in the 130 pound division.
The Mexico girls finished third as a team.
