Mexico Lady Bulldogs Becoming Road Warriors With Third Straight Win

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Hallsville Lady Indians 45-41 on Wednesday, January 18, 2024.

Claire Hudson had 20 points and Grace Hudson finished the game with 14 points.

Mexico head coach Makenzie Mudd says “It was close the whole game and was pretty intense. We did a great job communicating in the second half and working as a team to force turnovers and keep the lead. Grace Hudson knocked down key free throws at the end to secure the win. Overall, it was a great team effort.”

After picking up two road wins in the Warrenton Winter Shootout last week, 59-28 over Miller Career Academy and 67-56 over Hazelwood East, the Lady Bulldogs picked up their third consecutive road victory on Wednesday night against Hallsville.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 8-9 on the season.
