The Van-Far R1 School District Board of Education has selected Dr. Natalie Gibson as the new superintendent for the Van-Far R1 School District.
Dr. Gibson is currently the High School Principal with the Van-Far School District where she has been employed since 2023.
Dr. Gibson will start her official duties on July 1, 2024.
The search for a new High School Principal will commence shortly.
Dr. Gibson takes over the position for John Fortney who will be leaving the district for another superintendent’s job at the end of the school year.
