Mexico Woman Arrested After Disturbance At Area Business

A Mexico woman is facing several charges after an arrest for a disturbance during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Mexico Public Safety officers responded to the 100 block of East Jackson just after 2:30pm.

According to the news release officers learned that 33-year-old April L. Biggs was at a business cursing at employees and refusing to leave.

When officers arrived, Biggs did leave the business and got into an unlocked. parked vehicle at another business.

Officers say she refused to exit, claiming the vehicle was hers.

Biggs was arrested and processed at Mexico Public Safety and taken to the Audrain County Jail for First Degree Tampering and Resisting Arrest.
