Mexico School District Releases Information Regarding Superintendent Search
The following press release was sent out from the Mexico School District on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
The Mexico School District Board of Education met in a special session last night (Wednesday) to determine a timeline for a superintendent search.
Applications for the position will be posted on January 29 and shared on the school website and with education associations.
The job posting closes on February 16, 2024.
A committee of school personnel and community members will be determined to help in the selection process.
The committee will lead the process by reviewing applications and narrowing the candidate pool to at least five, who will be invited to an interview with the committee on Saturday, February 24.
The top two finalists will be invited back for a Mexico community tour, a public introduction of the candidate to the school and community, and an interview with the Board of Education during the last week of February.
The board will make a determination on the next superintendent following the final two interviews.
