Mexico Bulldogs Boys And Girls Basketball Teams Win One And Lose One To Moberly Spartans

The Mexico Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs split their North Central Missouri Conference road games at Moberly on Friday, February 2, 2024.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs fell to the Moberly Lady Spartans 77-46.

Claire Hudson led Mexico’s offense with 20 points.

Grace Hudson finished the game with 16 points.

The Mexico girls are now 9-11 on the season and 2-4 in the NCMC.

Up next the Mexico girls will play Marshall on the road on Monday, February 5th.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys defeated Moberly 75-50.

Mexico’s senior point guard DJ Long had his shoulder taped up but that did not stop him.

Long led all players with 24 points.

Jaydon Eldridge put up a solid 19 points.

PJ Perkins joined in the double digit scoring with 14 points including two dunks.

Mexico improved to 18-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the North Central Missouri Conference.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Mexico boys as they will be competing against McCluer North at the Mid Missouri Invitational in Harrisburg on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
