The Mexico High School Girls Tennis Team defeated North Point 8-1 on Friday, September 22, 2023.
Mexico head coach Kim Costley says “This was our last home match and a good match for the JV to end their season. North Point has a lot of players so everyone got their own match. The JV have really been playing well the last week or so. All of the pieces kinda fell into place. We are very excited to watch these young ladies develop over the off-season and have them ready for some varsity positions next fall. JV also played in a JV tournament today (Friday), finishing third vs. Palmyra (1st), Hannibal (2nd), Mexico (3rd), Father Tolton (4th). This week varsity plays in the conference tournament and district tournament.”
