Mexico High School Girls Wrestling Sending Three To State Tournament
Three girls from the Mexico High School girls wrestling team punched their tickets to State on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Alexus Johns took 1st place and was crowned District Champ.
Katie Bowen and Abbie Bowen each took third place in their respective weight divisions.
The Mexico girls wresters set the school record with three State Qualifiers and the first ever sister State Qualifiers with Katie and Abby Bowen.
The State Tournament will be held February 21-22 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
