Nationally Ranked Mexico High School Academic Team Crowned Champs At The WUSAC Tournament

The nationally ranked Mexico High School Academic Team claimed another championship after competing at Washington University in the WUHSAC XXVI on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Camden Williams powered nine times while scoring eight gets to score 260 points enroute to a 600-10 over Notre Dame A.

Mexico notched other wins over Westminster B from Georgia, Bayless and Kickapoo.

In the playoffs Mexico saw wins over Webster Groves, De Smet Jesuit and St. Joseph Central.

In the superplayoffs… Mexico defeated College Heights Christian, Hallsville and Ladue.

Then Mexico defeated College Heights in the final.

Mexico High Academic Team has a record of 91-2 heading into the North Central Missouri Conference tournament in Marshall this weekend.

Mexico is currently ranked 17th in the nation.
