Members Of Republican Party Gather At Audrain County Courthouse To Caucus For Presidential Nominee
Members of the Republican Party attended the first-ever presidential primary in the county on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Approximately 75 people attended the event at the Audrain County Courthouse.
The group chose Mark Stuart of Mexico as the event chair and Sally Stuart of Mexico as secretary.
There were three residents in the Hailey corner and the rest of the room was for Donald Trump.
The group also selected delegates for the congressional congress on April 6 in Chillicothe and the state convention in Springfield. The nominees were: Barb Burson, Jennifer Gore, Steve Young, Melissa Clark, Dusty Blue, and Debbie Bruce.
The chosen delegates were: Barb Burson, Dusty Blue, Jennifer Gore, and Melissa Clark.
Alternate delegates nominated were: Tim Taylor, Debbie Bruce, Jeffery Owen, Patricia Jadav, Darla Haines. After the vote, the group chose: Tim Taylor, Debbie Bruce, Patricia Jadav, and Darla Haines.
