Mexico High School Teacher Recognized By McDonald’s As Outstanding Educator For Second Straight Year

A Mexico High School teacher is the recipient of a McDonald’s Outstanding Educator Award for a second consecutive year.

Mexico McDonald’s General Manager Chris Williams presented the award to Jennifer Silver on Friday, March 1, 2024.

Silver has been in education for 26 years. She has been with the Mexico School District since 2000, and is the English Department Chair at the Mexico High School.

She received a $100 Visa gift card, an official certificate, a Best Teacher Ever mug, and McDonald’s food coupons to pay it forward with her students.
