Mexico Man Injured In Audrain County Accident On Highway 54 Bypass
A Mexico man is recovering from moderate injuries following a two-car accident in Audrain County on Friday, March 8, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Business 54 at the north end of the US 54 Bypass Route just before 11am.
A vehicle driven by 40-year-old Donald R. Mead of Walnut Grove, Mo was attempting to make a left turn onto the U.S. 54 Bypass and pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 23 year-old Maverick C. Knight of Mexico.
Knight’s vehicle hit the right front end of Mead’s vehicle.
Knight was taken to University Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Mead refused treatment at the scene.
