City Of Mexico Presented Big Check For New Water Slide At Mexico Aquatic Center
The City of Mexico received a $10,000 check from EDF Renewables at the Mexico Aquatic Center on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
The check was presented for the new water slide that is nearing completion.
Construction on the new water slide started in November 2023 and is expected to have a regional draw.
Mexico Parks and Recreation Director Chad Shoemaker says the water slide will be ready to use for the upcoming swimming season when the pool opens in May, 2024.
