Mexico High School Principal Brad Ellebracht Wins District Speech And Debate Administrator Of The Year Award

Mexico High School Principal Brad Ellebracht is the recipient of the National Speech and Debate Association High School Administrator of the Year for the Eastern Missouri District.

Mr. Ellebracht was presented the award at the District Tournament on Saturday, March 16. 2024.

Mexico High Speech and Debate Director Sara Given says “Mr. Ellebracht’s nomination information was also forwarded to the National office.

Each District has an Administrator of the Year and then all of those Administrators are turned in to the national office for the National Administrator of the Year.

We won’t know anything about that until closer to May or June.”

Mr. Ellebracht has been with the district since 2000.

He became an assistant principal in 2012.

And he became the lead principal for the high school in 2017.
