In a press release from Major League Baseball, all spring training games have been suspended as of 3:00 this (Thursday) afternoon and the opening day will be moved back at least 2 weeks.

The NCAA is announcing the cancellation of the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, and remaining winter and spring championships.
In a statement this (Thursday) afternoon, the NCAA said, “This decision is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, our ability to ensure the events do not contribute to spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such events at any time during this academic year given ongoing decisions by other entities.”
