Mexico Public Safety Department Report 3/18/2024

Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 46-year-old Trapon C. Clark for a Pike County warrant on Friday, March 15, 2024.

52-year-old Jeffery L. Stone was arrested for Fourth Degree Domestic Assault on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, March 15, 2024:

  • Stealing or theft at East Holt and on West Jackson and at 4820 South Clark.
  • Property dispute at Park Crest and on MacFarlane and at Franklin Road.
  • Ex-parte violation at Summer Ridge Road.
  • Harassment on MacFarlane.
  • Suspicious person at 2875 South Clark and at the South Clark apartment building.
  • Domestic verbal incident on North Western/Paris Road and at North Coal/East Jackson.

Public Safety went to the following calls for service on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

  • Careless and imprudent driver at High/Clark and at 4820 South Clark.
  • Harassment on Marine Drive.
  • Unwanted subject at South Jefferson.
  • Assault without injury on West Monroe.
  • Threats at South Abat.
  • Suspicious vehicle at Lakeview Park.
  • Fight in progress on South Jefferson.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls yesterday (Sunday) March 17, 2024:

  • Domestic verbal incident at South Singleton.
  • Suspicious person on West Boulevard and at South Jefferson and on West Pearson/Western.
  • Scam at North Olive.
  • Domestic physical incident on Pinelawn/Fairground.
  • Stealing or theft at West Monroe and North Western and on West Jackson.
  • Animal abuse or neglect reported at 2781 South Clark.
  • Fireworks on South Missouri/Breckenridge.

Car accidents:

A Mexico man was transported to a local medical facility following a vehicle accident on Saturday, March 17, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened in the 900 block of Boulevard.

A vehicle driven by 61-year-old Gregory Phillips of Mexico was driving east on Boulevard when the sun got in his eyes temporarily blinding him and causing him to drive into the back of a parked vehicle.

The parked vehicle then moved forward from the impact and struck another parked vehicle.

The severity of Phillips injuries were not reported.
