Bowen Sisters Continue To Make History In Mexico High School Girls Wrestling
Two members of the Mexico High School girls wrestling team have earned Academic All State Honors.
Senior Katie Bowen and sophomore Abby Bowen earned the honors.
Mexico girls wrestling coach Tony Senor says this is the first time Mexico has had two Academic All State girls in one season.
Also, it is the first sister combo to earn the honor.
Requirements for the Academic All State is to be a MSHSAA State Qualifier and have a cumulative 3.5 grade point average.
