Mexico Bulldogs Baseball Extends Win Streak To Eight Games In Close Contest Against South Callaway

The Mexico Bulldogs extended their win streak to eight with a 5-4 win over South Callaway on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Mexico got the scoring going in the bottom of the first inning after Chance McCarty singled, and Austin Maxwell grounded out, each scoring one run.

South Callaway tied the game in the top of the third inning.

In the bottom of the third inning, Mexico broke up the tie when an error scored one run.

Then a double by Ashton Belcher followed to extend the lead to 5-2.

Kaden Benne earned the win for Mexico.

The starting pitcher allowed one hit and struck out three batters over three innings.

Brady Fox collected the save.

Brady Fox and Chance McCarty each collected two hits for Mexico.

Ashton Belcher went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with two RBI.
