The Mexico Bulldogs fell to the Fatima Comets in high school baseball on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Austin Maxwell was the starting pitcher for the Bulldogs and struck out two batters.
Mexico got on the board in the second inning after Brady Fox drew a walk, scoring one run.
Fox led the Bulldogs offense with one RBI.
He went 2-2 on the day. Landon Hilderman and Brady Fox each collected two hits for Mexico.

The Mexico High School boys tennis team competed at the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class District 6 Individual Tournament at the Mexico Fairground Netplex on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Brendan McKeown took 2nd place singles All Districts and qualified for Sectionals.
Boston Davolt finished 4th place in singles All Districts.
The Kansas City Royals defeated the Texas Rangers 7-1 for a series opening win at the K on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer allowed just one run in six innings with eight strikeouts.
Last night was the sixth game this year the Royals have scored six or more runs in one inning.
The St. Louis Cardinals received another stellar pitching performance from starting pitcher Sonny Gray in a 3-0 win over the Chicago White Sox at Busch Stadium on Friday, May 3, 2024.
Gray pitched seven scoreless innings lowering his season ERA to 0.89 and improved his record to 4-1.
