Mexico High School senior Brendan McKeown is headed back to the State Tournament after competing in Sectionals on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Mckeown won 2-1 in three sets (5-7, 6-2, 10-5) in Sectionals.
Mckeown reached another milestone over the weekend picking up his 75th career win.
The State Tournament will take place May 17th-18th at Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri.
The 7th seeded Missouri Tigers softball team will, once again, host an NCAA Regional at the Mizzou Softball Stadium.
Head coach Larissa Anderson and her team will host their third NCAA Regional in four years.
The team will also look to advance past weekend one and host its first NCAA Super Regional since 2021, as a top-eight seed in the field.
Omaha, Indiana and Washington will all compete in the Columbia Regional on May 17th-19th on Mizzou’s campus.
