Mexico Community Shows Love For Mexico High School Academic Team During Trivia Night
The Mexico High School Academic Team reports another successful fundraiser over the weekend.
The 13th ranked MHS Academic Team hosted a trivia night on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
The goal was to raise $4,500 in order to send several members of the team to Virginia later this summer to play in a national competition.
Head coach Dale Schenewerk says the unofficial count from Saturday night showed the team raised around $6,500.
Coach Schenewerk says they look forward to representing the Mexico School District and the community on the national scale for a third consecutive year.
