Mexico Public Safety Department Report 5/13/2024

Arrests:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 36-year old Deshaun Dingeldine for an Audrain County warrant during the early morning hours of Monday, May 13, 2024.

Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, May 11, 2024:

  • Careless and imprudent driver on North Agricultural and Liberty.
  • Driving without a valid license at West Maple/Wade.
  • Property damage on Eastholm and at 907 East Liberty.
  • Displaying a weapon on West Jackson.

Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, May 11, 2024:

  • Suspicious vehicle on South Jefferson Road.
  • Domestic verbal incident at West Love/Singleton.
  • Assault without injury on Ringo.
  • Careless and imprudent driver at West Monroe.
  • Unwanted subject on West Monroe and at the South Clark apartment building.
  • Harassment on East Lafayette and at 4820 South Clark.
  • Domestic physical incident at the Green Releaf on South Clark.
  • Structure fire at West Breckenridge.

Mexico Public Safety responded to these calls on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

  • Shots fired reported on South Morris Street.
  • Identity theft at West Whitley.
  • Suspicious person on West Breckenridge.
  • Stealing or theft at West Monroe.
  • Property damage on Yale.
  • Trespassing at North Clark and no West Monroe.
  • Stolen vehicle reported at North Mississippi.
  • Animal abuse or neglect at 4820 South Clark.
  • Stealing or theft on Quantico Road and at West Robinson and at 4820 South Clark.
  • Child abuse or neglect on Falcon.

 

Car accidents:

No injuries reported following a two-car accident on Liberty at Agricultural on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 79-year-old Stephen Miller of Mexico was stopped at a stop light and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Craig Shramek of Mexico.

 

No injuries reported after a two-car accident on Trinity at Central on Friday, May 10, 2024.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Alexis Melton of Mexico failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Patricia Harris of Mexico.
