Search Continues For Three Juvenile Detainees Who Escaped Fulton Youth Center

An investigation is continuing after three juvenile detainees escaped from the Division of Youth Services Treatment Center on State Road in Fulton on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

The Fulton Police Department believes the juveniles are no longer in the area.

Fulton Police and Callaway County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for three African-American males.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office suspects the three juveniles stole a car in Fulton.

Law enforcement warns they could be anywhere in the state as of now.

The sheriff’s office, says the three were previously charged with burglary and motor vehicle theft.

People across the state are being warned to lock vehicles and report suspicious activity to 911.

A vehicle reported from the Southwinds subdivision area has been recovered in Jefferson City.

This may be related to the escape of the three juveniles from the Fulton Youth Treatment Center.

Callaway Sheriff’s Office provided the following descriptions:

  • One wearing all black with red Air Force One shoes. One wearing a red hoodie and black shorts. One wearing a brown/black hoodie and Air Force One pants.
  • Juvenile 1: 17-year-old Black male, 5’8, 130 pounds last seen wearing a red hoodie and black shorts
  • Juvenile 2: 16-year-old Black male, 5’9, 160 pounds
  • Juvenile 3: 15-year-old Black male, 5’8 160 pounds
